This project is creating digital copies of a collection of important Christian manuscripts. High-resolution photography will allow site visitors to zoom in and view details on 20,000 pages, and detailed metadata records allow searching and browsing for specific names, passages, or illustrations.
I worked on this project at the Digital Library Development Center at the University of Chicago. I did the front-end and back-end development and design using PHP, XSLT and Adobe Flash. I also set up the photography studio for the project, which uses a large format camera with a digital scanning back.
